The production of building materials in recent years still has many shortcomings and shortcomings, so to develop the province's building material production industry in a sustainable way, it is necessary to have advanced and modern technologies. Towards complete elimination of outdated building materials production technology, consuming a lot of resources and polluting the environment.

The province currently has about 160 enterprises, establishments and individual households operating in the field of manufacturing all kinds of construction material products such as baked bricks, unburnt bricks, ceramic tiles, commercial concrete, etc. concrete structures… and 55 enterprises producing and exploiting minerals as building materials. Construction materials products meet most of the demand in the province, partly supplied to neighboring provinces and exported.

In addition, in the province, there are 21 units supplying commercial concrete, including 19 cement concrete mixing stations and three asphalt mixing plants, with a total capacity of 1,980 thousand m3/year. Two cement production facilities with a total designed capacity of 380 thousand tons of cement/year. Some other industries produce construction materials such as lime, mining sand, gravel...

In which, the main products are fired clay bricks with 56 factories producing by tunnel kilns, with a total design capacity of more than 1.52 billion standard bricks/year. Regarding unburnt building materials, there are currently 21 industrial-scale production facilities, with a total design capacity of about 680 million tablets/year. In addition, there are three units producing ceramic tiles, with a total design capacity of 13.5 million m2/year.

Currently, mobile tunnel kiln (disc kiln) is a modern brick production technology with many advantages, increased capacity scale (minimum 60 million bricks/year, maximum 120 million bricks/year) due to the kiln being used. designed according to the principle of mobility on rails, with a circular orbit.

The characteristics of this type of furnace are complete automation, operations are controlled remotely, using robots in some stages; The furnace shell structure is made of steel, the insulation materials are effective, so the heat loss is low, the fuel cost is reduced.

Do not use field clay as raw materials, but use hilly soils, soil removed from mines, coal cover, cinder block, kiln slag, scrap bricks and tiles, products after demolition of masonry walls, roof tiles...
